Things to Do In Big Timber

The Yellowstone and Boulder are two of Montana’s finest trout fishing rivers. Get away for a day of fishing on your own, or we will help you locate a guide

Take a walk to Prairie Dog Town. They would love to see you too

Walk next door to Big Timber Waterslide. Get a wrist band and then come and go as you like.

While you're in Big Timber you can also:

• Play Golf! We're only 5 miles from the Overland Golf Course
• Check out the Crazy Mountain Museum in Big Timber.  You'll also want to check out C Sharps Arms,  Shiloh Rifle Manufacturing Co.
  and the Yellowstone Fish Hatchery
• Go on a day trip and visit Natural Bridge State Park or Half Moon Park.  And did you know that we're only 110 miles from Yellowstone National Park?
• Take a ride up the Boulder and see where Horse Whisperer was filmed.
